This collection is a compendium of newspapers published in various cities and towns in the state of West Virginia from the 1930s until 2009. Chuck YeagerBerkeley Springs, West Virginia

Charles Elwood "Chuck" Yeager (born 1923), a decorated World War II ace and Air Force officer, was the first person to break the sound "barrier" by flying an aircraft faster than the speed of sound. Chuck Yeager was born in Myra and attended high school in Hamlin, West Virginia.
